Let’s recap as we wrap up the summer and this series, which I spent the entire season processing—don’t you love it when God speaks? I was at a baseball game when a sight from the crowd caught my attention for a brief moment. This series of blog posts, which concludes today, reflects the insights the Lord spoke to me in the moment and the months that followed.

In that roaring, chaotic crowd, I spotted a child sleeping soundly in his mother’s arms. As I’ve mentioned (find this series here), it convicted me of the importance of resting in the Lord, finding peace in His presence, and having confidence in His care.

The concluding impression is fairly simple, yet I needed the reminder: that child woke up RESTORED!

Are you burnt out or running on fumes, Beloved? Exhausted from “burning the candle at both ends”? Life, parenthood, and ministry have us all in that position from time to time. Let us encourage you that you, too, can block out the chaos and find rest, peace, and confidence in your Heavenly Father. And He will restore you! The word shall is used repeatedly in this verse – isn’t that wonderful news? Restoration in Christ is not just a possibility; it is a promise, friends!

Claim His promise and start this new (busy) season with the strength to remain steadfast, unmovable, and always abounding in the work for His name’s sake!
