I once heard a pastor say, “Your testimony is the greatest story – all too often – never told”. Let that sink in … it’s convicting, right?
Here’s the thing: our testimony is not just our story. It’s a tool God has entrusted to us to magnify the name of Jesus and minister to lost souls.
Paul says it like this, “..he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again…Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation”. (2 Corinthians 15;17-18) I’m from the country, and we often summarize that first part by saying, “He changes our ‘want to.'” Amen? (Anyone else hear it said that way? Leave us a hearty “amen” in the comments.)

By doing so, our desires align with Jesus’ heart for sinners to “come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). Instead of seeing witnessing as a burden, we are given a burden for souls.
Where does that “all too often never told” part come in, you might ask? Well, sometimes we aren’t in submission to the commission. (Matthew 28:18-20) Everyone has their excuses, myself included. My favorite lately is “we’re just so busy”. Can I love you enough to tell you something? No one was or ever will be busier than Jesus.
We are standing on the brink of eternity, Beloved. Steward your story well- before it is eternally too late.
As always, we are praying you are steadfast, unmovable, and always abounding for the glory of the Lord!
